First good news in a while

Today my mom had her first surgery, It went pretty well. They had to take out more than they had anticipated, but the outcome was everything went well. I was so scared for her today, but with every ones prayers I felt some peace. My mother is so much stronger women than I could ever be, and I envy that in her. She is so strong I know she will make it through this. I'm starting to think this is Gods way of toughing me up. I'm trying to take things one day at a time, and not worry so much about the future. Its not an easy task but I'm trying.

I just found out today that my mother, has got breast cancer. I am already full of so much sadness. My heart feels like it will burst. I am so concumed by my own issues, and now we have another to add to the heartache. I have always seen my self as such a strong person, but now I find my self feeling so weak and powerless. Why is god giving me so much to deal with all at once?

These days are full of such sadness. I have found myself wonder why things have to happen the way they do? Do they really have to be this way? I catch my self blaming god for allowing such hurt into my life. But then I realize that all things happen for a reason, even if you don't understand it at the time. I have learned to reach out to my church family rather than hide from the world, and cry! Well I still cry but they are tears of relief. I know that god is going to take care of me and be there for me when I need him, and that alone is what keeps me going. This is a verse that speaks loudly to me right now!

Ephesians 2; 8 -For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God!

Please pray for My children, Me, and also for Luke.

I hope we all can survive this!!!!!!!

What a Saturday!!!!! So Saturday morning me and my friend Kara went to a funeral, and then headed to Colorado to take my mother back her car. At one o' clock we got to the welcome to Colorado sign, and decided to get out for some pictures. So we decide to just jump out and quickly snap a few shots when we realized the doors were locked, the car was still running with both of are cell phones on the console. We then had to flag down some passing cars, which gave us water and chocolate bars...LOL The older couple called the highway patrol, which would do nothing because there was no one locked inside the car ( which I think was lame). Long stories short we where stuck there 2 hours when two guys stopped and broke into are car for us! Man I have the worst luck! But I was glad we got to have an amusing weekend!

NELSON Family Reunion

Moab was a blast!!! Me and the kids had so much fun. I forgot how much fun my family really is. Our family reunion consisted of Hiking, swimming, Window shopping, and a wild west show, and alot of good food!!! The temps where around 90 and I loved the Heat! I finally got my drama free weekend, It was so relaxing!Here are some pics, and two videos' of the wild west show!

I look back on my life now and wonder, what was gods plan for me. Did he really mean for me to get pregnant, and married so young? Maybe he did, maybe the plan he had for me was so much bigger than I could even see. God has blessed me with three beautiful and healthy children. He has made me a stronger, more appreciative person. I have learned now, no matter what you do you will be criticized and judged by someone, And I have to learn to let it go. I know the true me, and the only person who will truly judge me is god! And because of that I'm at peace.

My kids are taking the hurt from this Divorce, and that hurts me more than ever! I so didn't want this for them. They do not deserve to suffer for Luke and I's down falls. I pray that God will comfort them in this time of turmoil.

Im sure most of you know what is going on right now! But for the few of you that don't I just wanted to get everything out in the open. Luke and I have decided to Divorce. The only details I want everyone to know is. Luke and I married really young, niether of us knew what we were getting into. And as hard as we may have tryed to make this work, in the end the love was just not there. Luke is a wonderful father, and I hope for our kids sake we can be friends! This is going to be a very hard ajustment, but in the end I think it will be for the best. I want all the family to know I am so glad to have had the chance to be apart of it, if even for a short time. You all have add a moment or two where you have touched my life. And for that I just want to say thank you. we'll I guess that is it so here's to the future!!!!

Rest in Peace Candy!!!!!! Oaklee's little filly candy got stuck in the pond on saturday, Me and the kids got her pulled out, But sadly she had something broken. She tryed and tryed but she could not get up. Here are some pictures Hunter took of us getting her out of the mud. Candy was born on Oaklee's birthday, and was the first colt I have ever had to pull out of mare. Oaklee's gonna miss her.

This weekend we got to take the kids to Grand Junction, to the see the Monster Trucks!!!!! It was awsome. Its was to much fun, they were so loud! Makes me want a really big truck!!!!! LOL there were trucks spinning in the mud! Wow a redneck girls paradise:). I forgot to take my camra so the only pics are got were from my phone. There kinda hard to see but it gives you an idea of what we seen!

Today was a good day! Me and the kids went out and enjoyed the mountians. Nothing better than being up in the mountains to clear my head. It rained like crazy, but it was beautiful, and so peaceful! Luke had to work saturday, so me and the kiddo's decided to tag along. We were gone super early! It's still kicking my butt. LOL. The scenery was awesome. I love being in the mountains. I have got to give a shout out to steve the pilot. For letting the kids play in his helicopter. We didn't get to catch a ride, but the kids had a blast pretending they were flying. It was windy and kinda cold, but still fun. They kids took a bunch of these pictures. They are getting pretty good at centering a picture of something or someone.

Castle Dale Pro Rodeo

Friday night we got to take the kids to the Castle Dale pro rodeo. It was probably the worst turn out I have ever seen. The seats are usually packed. The Rodeo wasn't full of events either. We got to see two bull riders....Ya only two bull riders how sad is that!!!!!! It was still fun though I love getting out of the house. The act they had preforming at the rodeo was awsome. I did get pictures of that. This guy came in riding these two brama bulls. Then they preformed like a skit. It was amazing. At the end he got one to jump through a ring of fire, but of course im slow so my camra just caught the end of it.LOL. Hears my pics!

My kids love to take pictures. Well I guess I should say, most of the time my kids love to take pictures. They just don't like to be in the pictures all the time.LOL Today they where all smiles.

We were at the rodeo all last weekend, but I didn't take a single picture. Guess I was just to busy. I got to barrel race both nights. My stud is getting better and better. He cuts the barrels real tight, which is really good, but at the same time he has hit a few and my knees are black and blue. Its worth it though. I also got the pleasure of riding the hide. Friday night was flawless. We took second place. Now saturday night on the other hand. I missed the hide, but doubledback and caught it the second time around. The hide rode me though. It was fun, and very dirty. I am still cleaning dirt out of everywhere! LOL This next weekend is riding club, I'm gonna try to take lots of pictures.

This saturday we got to take the kids to the pool, it was so fun, and HOT!!!!!!! Castle Dales new pool is awsome!!!! Hunter and Oaklee played for hours together, for once they acctually got along! Hesston is still alittle scared of water. But all in all it was just a good day. Here is are pics.

I know it has been a while since I last blogged! Life has been very difficult and full of trials and struggles. Marriage can be a very tuff hurdle at times. I have heard that year number seven can be hard, but my number 6 has been a butt kicker!!! It will be 7 years in october! I sometimes wonder why things happen the way they do? Most times I eventually see why! But right now i'm still not sure? What is god wanting from me? What lesson should I be learning! But also through these troubling times I have also found a since of peace with my self. A since of understanding, on how I define my self! I'm not just the girl who got knocked up at 16 and had to get married!I am a person....who can achieve great things, and be great things! My future possiblities are endless!

I have found that life will throw you curve balls, but its only what you do with the curve balls that defines you. Well I don't know if I have done right by all my curve balls, but i'm alittle more prepared for them now!

I have relized i'm not a perfect person, and niether is anybody else. I'm going to try going forward with life, and not dread on the past. What is in my future, only god knows.

RODEO

This weekend was the Black Diamond Legends PRCA Rodeo. I got to carry a flag again for the grand entry. Its was a blast!!!!! Hunter Also got the chance to mutton bust....I love to watch him have fun!!!! friday night he watched a little boy eat dirt, and he refused to ride, But by Saturday He was siked to do it!!!!!! He rode pretty good, and had fun so that is all that mattered.Oaklee said she was gonna ride, but chickened out at the last minute. Here are some pics of are weekend. Luke did a pretty good job of taking picture. He took some of me and the girls, but I did the mutton busting ones!!! Luke also one the Wrangler Butts contest....and man did that boost his ego!!!!!lol He had everybody laughing. Sue called today and said thats what everyone was taking about at church!!!!LOL

Last Weekend Me and the Kids did the fun, run, walk. For the foster care foundation!!! it was a beautiful Day! We walked from the Peace gardens in Price, to the park. Last week was crazy. Wednesday Hesston went in at 6 am for surgury! Just for Tubes not anything serious. It made for a long day. I took him in the morning, then had to be back by 2 for Hunters class easter party, cause I'm the room mother. then we where supossed to head to a easter egg hunt at 5:30. But I was pooped. and the weather was horrible, so we bagged that. Then thursday, I had to get the new camper for camping. camping was so much fun. Hesston was not feeling the greatest, so we stayed in the camper alot. but it was great to spend time with every one. this is my new camper!!!!

I took some great pictures of camping, but I some how have lost my camra (lukes gunna kill me!!!) I'm sure I will find it soon. Soon as I do I will post picture! Oh and girls I'm still trying to plan a horse ride, but I'm waiting for some really warm weather. Will let you know when it will be. talk to you all soon.

A few weeks ago. The Guys all went for a horse ride on the desert. In the first little while they crossed the river many times. But this last time, my dad and his horse red didn't make it across. While crossing the river, they tell me the horse went down in a deep spot, and came up in a big old mud pile. Long story short, The horse was stuck. These Photos where takin by Neil. And I will have to applaude him. They are good. I was not there. And the horse was fine, just alittle tired. And Luke and My dad where wet and cold. Just had to share these pictures.

Are warmist day this year... I was so happy to be outside. So where the kids. While I was burning weeds the kiddo's were riding bikes and playing on the swing set. All of them were sporting shorts for the first time this year, including me(thats why there are non of me!!!). Here are some pics.

Wow Hunters first match was so fun! There was so many little boys runing everywhere. Sorry he is not in uniform, I couldn't see spending 30 buck for a leatard, when I don't know if he is going to wanna do it next year. He wrestled four boy( one was on accident because he stayed in with the second grade boys, and ended up wrestling one. lol) He was supposed to wrestle 3 boys for three, three minute rounds. I think he did really well here is some pics and video of it. injoy!!!!

I wan't you all to meet the newest addition to the family. This is COSMO, he is one year old pup. The local pound was going to put him to sleep, and a friend was fostering him. I couldn't let that happen, so I brought him home. Luke was not so happy but, he is such a good dog. He plays with kids and sleeps with them. He is alreay house broken. and he is just so cute. Here he is......

His first match is next thursday. And I should get some good pictures of him in action! This is starting to get exciting. I love to watch him learn and grow.

Wrestlers

WOW. my boy started his first sport! Hunter wants to be a wrestler like his dad. among many other things. We took him to his first practice. Sorry forgot the camra. Man it was crazy. There was like 50 boys, and only 2 coaches. Man I was glad Luke went to help they needed it. I was also glad he never cried. Mine was not the one crying. He had alot of fun. He still wants to go back tomarrow so we are doing GREAT! I am not so sure about boys wrestling around in tight clothes, but luke loved it. And I think they will get good one on one time together. I still don't know how I am going to handle the first little boy that throws him around and makes him cry. LOL. Well that is my adventures for the day. Hopefully I will remember to take the pictures tommarow so you can see him in action. (or better yet I go for a video).

Horse Ride

This last weekend Luke and some friends and family went on a horse ride out on the desert. It was a beautiful day, but I didn't get to go :(. I was home with all the little kiddys. I had Jana little Harley, and my brothers two kids Madison and Brytton. I was so excited that I remembered to throw the digital camera in Lukes saddle bag. I was hoping for some real good pics so I could see what missed. They left my house at about 7:30 and didn't get back ti'l 5:30 or so, and this is what I got....

One picture of what luke calls a ducks head. One picture out of the hole day. what a bummer huh. Atleast he took one. The nice thing on the other hand is jana went, and took 96 pictures. so hopefully she will post them with her story for you guys to see. Next time I won't get stuck home, and I will take good pictures for you all. Its warming up and we should all get to start having fun outside. I'm praying for sun. I wanna do a horse ride with just the girls, I all ways get stuck home if I can't find a sitter, and just once I wanna do that to luke.So any Girls wanna go? I got horses for people to ride. just let me know!!!!!

Well I am sure that this used to work on the others. With my first I shaved him bauld at two months, and pretty much so on til now. And the result is thick blonde hair. Know Oaklee I Only trimed her cause well girl look dumb bauld when you do it on purpose. Hers is not so thick but not bad. and my little Hess on the other hand has the thinest hair I have ever seen this is the twelve time I have buzzed him, And I am hopeing this time will have a differnt result. So what do you think of my little bauldy. He looks so differnt. I allso threw in a Video of my kids being spazzes. Which they are on a normal day. Hey If you have any hair advise, let me know.

Hesston's Party

How exciting for my Baby to finally turn one. He is growing so fast. His party turned out wonderful. We had friends and family all at are house for cupcakes and ice cream. We didn't do much. But we all had a wonderful visit. He got showered by toys, and didn't understand why he couldn't play with the first one he opened. It was had to keep his attention. I want to thank everyone that came it was totally memorable. Any who injoy are pics they are only a few cause luke took them.

Hi Everyone: I would like you to meet my brothers twin boys. Kanin and Gage. They are identical twin boys. Except one eats more then the other, so one is 14 pounds and the other only 10 pounds.

This would be Mr. Kanin. He is the 14 pounder. He is all smiles all the time.

This Is Gage are little man. although he is smaller he is alot more active.

This last weekend I got the chance to watch them while mom and dad had a little break. Its was so much Fun, eventhough at times alittle challenging. They were so good and Happy.

I just love this picture. Hesston wanted to play with them so bad. He pushed on that playpen for an hour.

Man I love my Hunter he is such a big helper with hesston. I don't know why he can put him to sleep so much better than me, but he does. Hesston loves his big brother. Most every day before hunter does to school. He will cuddle him till he goes to sleep. Now some days he won't have it. But most of the time he lays his head right on his shoulder.

Know Oaklee on the other hand always wants to cuddle hesston but he usually won't have it. But this time he allowed her to feed him. Man I can't belive he is almost as big has her. Man they grow way to fast. Guess I better not blink or they will be grown.

I had to restart my blog. So that is why you are seeing this picture again. See I posted hesstons invite, with my address on it , and then couldn't figure out how to remove it. So I decided to start over, and hopefully I am not stupid enough to do it again. So anybody that would need directions to my house will know have to call or e-mail me.

Man I am a nother year older this next month but dumber than ever. The third kid has just taken any sense that I had left. I can't remember nothing. I catch my self taking to my kids and forgetting what i'm saying right in the middle of what I was saying. pretty sad huh. I have to write my self little notes when I go to town, but then forget to bring them. My grocery list never even makes it to the car. My goals for this year are simple organize, you think it will help? Maybe there is hope for me yet.
